Introduction
When we say memory, we think it is a to store, retail, and recall information, experience, or knowledge. But it plays a much more big role in this universe.
There are 7 different types of memories that we will see in this blog. So let’s get dive into ……
Elementary Memory:
In Hindu philosophy, the concept of Panch Bhoota refers to five elements that are considered the building blocks of creation.
These elements are Prithvi (earth), Jal (water), Agni (fire), Vayu (air), and Aakash (ether).
These five elements are not present in the physical world but also present in all living being.
The interaction of these elements influences physical, mental health, and spiritual growth.
Elementary memory refers to how these five elements interact and play its role in life.
Atomic Memory
This memory refers to small substances that the universe is made of.
This is about atoms that we have learned in school, which contain different subatomic particles.
Atomic memory relates to how these subatoms or atoms are made and how they behave with each other.
Revolutionary Memory
As we all know we are transformed from Hominids to Homo Sapiens. And from there we are having 2 eyes, 2 ears, hands and legs, the shape of a head and body.
It didn’t happen that we are having some form of other creature.
That comes under Revolutionary Memory
Genetic Memory
This genetic memory passes from genetic material which passes from parents to children which makes you a unique human among all other creatures.
This memory decides the color of your skin, the shape of your hair, the shape of your nose, and all your genetic properties.
Karmic Memory
Karma refers to laws of cause and effect, where the action in the past or the present will affect the present or future.
Karmic memory can be thought of as the storage of our actions, intentions, and thoughts. This memory will influence the individual’s action, intention, and thought in the present or in the future.
This karmic memory is not just the accumulation of your actions, intentions, or thoughts of this birth but all of your previous lives and process.
This memory is a spiritual concept and plays a role beyond one’s understanding.
Brain Memory
This is not a new concept for all of us and need to explain more of it.
This memory is the fundamental aspect of learning, decision-making, and daily functioning.
This memory can be categorized into three parts as
- Conscious memory
- Subconscious memory
- Unconscious memory
Muscle Memory
In this type of memory muscles of the body learn and remember movements through practices and repetitions.
When you repeatedly perform a physical movement, such as eating, typing on a keyboard, driving, or blinking an eye, your brain creates neural pathways that make the execution of that movement possible.
Over time, these pathways become more efficient, allowing you to perform the movement more smoothly and accurately.
I hope you get something new from this blog.
